The Society at The Lavender Village
The Lavender Village is an almost 12 acre property with a Shoppe (coming soon), a farm, The Cooperative Farm at The Lavender Village, a residence owned by the Stanton Family and is home to The Society at The Lavender Village, a Religious Society of Friends Meetinghouse, seeking to provide opportunities for those in our community to reach their highest potential with an emphasis on wonder, play, health and sustainability. We seek to nourish mind, body & soul to further our mission. Our six testimonies are simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship. We offer weekly worship opportunities and potlucks as well as classes and other socializing opportunities five days a week for children and adults who are members of our meetinghouse.
Believe it.
The Society at The Lavender Village is a Society of Friends. It’s a place for our members of our members to gather, grow, and connect with the divine nature of everything, and share revelations with each other. We care about being close to our food and about how we nourish ourselves. Our core principles include simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship.
Build it.
The Society at The Lavender Village is a meetinghouse with a field and a natural play area, we are located on a shared scenic parcel of over 11 acres with woods, fields, greenhouses & a sugar shack. We are across the street from a 200+ acre preserve. The land is a place where our families can gather outdoors with nature and close to our food. We built it so that you could enjoy a lifestyle for your family closer to nature.
Grow it.
Our agricultural social club supports our testimonies of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship through the Society’s private field where members grow produce and herbs together as a community.
